Future WWE Hall Of Famer Mickie James tells HL EXCLUSIVELY why she thinks it’s ‘really cool’ that the Bella Twins expanded their brand beyond the wrestling ring.

“I love those girls,” Mickie James said of The Bella Twins – Nikki and Brie Bella – while chatting EXCLUSIVELY with HollywoodLife during an episode of TVTalk on IG Live. Mickie, 41, who launched GAW TV in 2020 with two of her fellow in-ring icons, praised Nikki and Brie, 37, for how they’ve been able to expand the whole “Bella” brand into new and exciting entertainment avenues. “They’ve crossed over into the wine space as well,” adds Mickie. Clearly, we’re in the same realm because we have wine on our show.”

“I think it’s really, really cool to see them take what they’ve learned from wrestling and all of these kinds of facets and develop their own brand, to really branch out and do something so unique that really hasn’t been done on a female capacity a whole lot,” adds Mickie. “They’re truly one of the first power couple girls to do it in a sense.”

“I always say you have to credit the generations before,” explains Mickie. Before [Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson], there had been a few who had crossed over into mainstream stuff, but there really hadn’t been a whole lot of females.” Mickie brought up Stacy Keibler, who had noted roles in ” How I Met Your Mother, Chuck, and Psych, ” as well as a high-profile relationship with George Clooney. “Stacy Kiebler was probably the first to cross over and do that whole thing, and then since then, it’s really been [The Bellas].”

“I like to say myself but more in the music world,” says Mickie, who released two albums of country music – 2010’s Strangers & Angels and 2013’s Somebody’s Gonna Pay – and a handful of non-album singles, including “I Don’t Give A,” “Great Minds,” and “Christmas Presence.” While she has found success (she was inducted into the Native American Music Hall of Fame in 2017), Mickie shares that her crossover achievements are “not really in that Hollywood kind of life.”

Mickie does credit the Bellas fame because “it’s empowered a lot of women to know that there are no limits and there are no boundaries. I think they were the first to really instill that in today’s generation, which is really, really cool to see.”

GAW TV – short for “Grown Ass Women” – features Mickie with two of her fellow in-ring icons: Lisa Marie Varon, aka Victoria from WWE, and Valerie “SoCalVal” Wyndham, best known for her work in Total Nonstop Action. Mickie, who worked in TNA as Alexis Laree, shared how GAW TV came about.

“I had an injury. That’s how this kind of transpired,” she tells HollywoodLife. “Val, Lisa, and I talked separately about doing something together. Because of the pandemic, I was home with my ACL injury. I was in the final steps of getting cleared and all of that stuff. The struggle is real! I thought I’d be back to work in no time, and it was a year-and-a-half later, it felt like. These are my sisters. We’ve shared locker rooms together. We’ve shared rings together.”

“We just made it a podcast at the beginning of the year because we are almost a year now,” adds Mickie. “We started as a TV show fun thing that we thought it would be quirky. We know that it’s two different audiences, really.”

Over the first year of GAW TV, the show has featured guest appearances from singer Taylor Dane, Atlanta Braves star Bryce Wilson, RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Ginger Minj, and wrestling legends like Jazz, Al Snow, Chavo Guerro, Mick Foley, ODB, and Natalya. You can see these and all the other episodes by subscribing to GAW TV here.

Ben Affleck without a beard is still a sight to get used to. The ‘Justice League’ star looked unrecognizable while playing softball with George Clooney amid filming for their new movie.

Ben Affleck looked like a new man without a beard on the set of his upcoming movie, The Tender Bar, on April 7. The 48-year-old actor took his clean-shaven face out to a ball field in Boston where he played a game with his director, George Clooney, during what appeared to be a filming break. While his beard was gone, Ben appeared to rock even more hair on his head than usual, thus completing a total transformation for his latest film role.

Who’s this! Ben Affleck looks like a younger version of himself without the beard he had been growing out. He was on location in Boston to film The Tender Bar, a new movie being directed by George Clooney, on April 7, 2021. [BACKGRID]Ben was decked out in his character’s softball uniform: an orange tee that read “The Dickens,” the name of the fictional bar that’s central to the movie, black shorts, tube socks and Puma baseball shoes. The other people on the movie set donned the same athletic uniform, except for George, who wielded his baseball bat in just a grey shirt and jeans.

The hair makeover (both on Ben’s chin and head) wasn’t the only noticeable change in his appearance. The Grammy-winning actor looked especially trim, too!

Ben was first photographed without his grown-out beard while picking up his nine-year-old son, Samuel, at his swimming practice in Los Angeles on March 26. It was a huge makeover; just two weeks prior, Ben was seen with a full-on beard (mustache included) while filming The Tender Bar in Boston on March 12. It was a grown-out version of the trimmed facial hair that Ben is usually seen with when he’s out and about in LA, or picking up his Dunkin’ Donuts orders outside his home.

Ben Affleck is seen here with his grown-out movie beard on the set of The Tender Bar in Boston, Massachusetts on March 12, 2021. [BACKGRID]Ben began growing out the beard in February, but now, it looks like his role requires it no more. The Tender Bar is based on the coming-of-age memoir written by J. R. Moehringer, and Clooney’s movie adaptation will follow the story of “a boy growing up on Long Island” who “seeks out father figures among the patrons at his uncle’s bar,” according to IMDb.

Mark Ruffalo’s kids, 19-year-old Keen and 15-year-old Bella, hopped behind their dad as he delivered his acceptance speech for ‘Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series’ at the Golden Globes!

Mark Ruffalo‘s kids decided to share their famous dad’s limelight during his acceptance speech at the 2021 Golden Globes! The Feb. 28 event was virtual this year due to the pandemic, meaning the 53-year-old actor had to accept his “Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series” award for playing twin brothers in the film This Much Is True from home. This gave the Avengers star’s teens Keen, 19, and Bella Noche, 15, the opportunity to crash their dad’s speech…which they took!

After Mark’s name was called, his son Keen jumped into the frame to celebrate. Then, as Mark delivered his passionate speech by the side of his wife, Sunrise Coigney, their two older kids hopped back into the frame to share the celebratory moment. Twitter freaked out over the wholesome moment.

— E! News (@enews) March 1, 2021

Despite the lighthearted moment, Mark used the spotlight to share an incredibly important message for the Golden Globes viewers. “Let’s turn the page on the cruel past of this nation. The good news is inclusion and justice and care for Mother Earth is breakout out everywhere. The godly light of decency is breaking through the hideous, dark storm we’ve been living through,” the actor for “The Hulk” urged fans.

While the Hollywood Foreign Press Association awards the most prestigious shows, films and actors/actresses every year, that doesn’t mean celebrities try to bring some lighthearted fun into the annual event — just like Mark’s kids did tonight! Just look at Ricky Gervais: the famous comedian boldly took jabs at Judy Dench, James Corden and the movie Cats (which both Judy and James starred in) during his monologue at the 2020 show.

A throwback photo of Mark Ruffalo with his family at the 2017 premiere of Thor: Ragnarok. Mark and Sunrise are also the parents of their 13-year-old daughter, Odette. [AP]And then there have been Tina Fey and Amy Poehler‘s many on-stage routines throughout the years. During one of these hosting gigs in 2015, Amy poked fun at the fact that George Clooney was receiving the lifetime achievement award despite the fact that his wife, Amal Clooney, has an impressive career as a human rights lawyer.

Stars don’t always use the spotlight to crack a joke, however (like Mark). During his opening monologue at the 2018 show (amidst the #MeToo Movement), Seth Meyers put aside his usual jokes to call out high-ranking Hollywood figures like Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey who had been accused of sexual misconduct.

George Clooney opened up about the heartwarming gesture he’s a ‘big believer’ in when it comes to keeping the spark of his romance with wife Amal alive after nearly seven years of marriage and two children.

George Clooney is definitely a romantic at heart. The actor, 59, chatted with AARP about his time in lockdown amid the COVID-19 pandemic and maturing throughout his life and career. Naturally, the conversation quickly turned to his accomplished wife, Amal Clooney, and the couple’s two children — twins Ella and Alexander, 3. The Ocean’s Eleven star got very candid about the thoughtful way he and his wife keep their love as strong as ever — writing love letters!

“Even in lockdown [during the coronavirus pandemic], I’ll write a letter and slip it on her desk, or she’ll write a letter and leave it under the pillow; I’m a big believer in letters,” George said of the classic love letters he and Amal write one another. As it turns out, writing letters is a big part of George’s life. “I have letters from Paul NewmanWalter CronkiteGregory Peck. I have them framed. I put them in the house,” he revealed of his treasures.

But they often find those moments a tad difficult to find as they raise their rambunctious three-year-olds.

And it’s more than just the letter-writing that George confessed is the traditional part of his personality. The actor also revealed that, when it came to naming his two children, he didn’t want to give them “weird-a** names.” He explained of his children’s circumstances, “They’re already going to have enough trouble. It’s hard being the son of somebody famous and successful.”

The two got engaged in April of that year, before exchanging their vows and obtaining marriage licenses in August, mere months later. On June 6, 2017, Amal and George became parents to their precious little ones. It’s been wonderful for fans to get a glimpse into George’s life with his wife and children. Perhaps one day we’ll learn what some of those love letters said!

Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas’ pandemic relationship lasted nearly a year before they called it quits when they had to make some important decisions about their lives.

Ben Affleck, 48, and Ana de Armas, 32, ended their romance when the two realized that they wanted different things. After dating for almost a year when the COVID-19 pandemic had people in lockdown most of the time, the actor and actress reportedly decided to go their separate ways when work picked up and they had to address some important terms.

“The quarantine was unique because they had downtime and really got to know each other spending time at home,” a source told The Post. “But once work picked up, things started to change.”

Ana just signed on to star in The Gray Man, a film also starring Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling, and Ben is starring in George Clooney’s adaptation of the book The Tender Bar.

Before their breakup, Ben and Ana were spotted out in public several times throughout most of 2020. They went on strolls while walking pets and even hung out with Ben’s kids, Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Sam, 8, who he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 48. They also went on coffee runs and showed off PDA almost every time before their split was reported this week.

Rumors of their split first started when they didn’t spend the holidays together. Ana went back to Cuba, where her family is. She also has a home there and that’s part of the reason she and Ben couldn’t make it work. “She’s here for work reasons; like all actors, she lives wherever work takes her,” one of Ana’s friends said, according to Page Six.

“Ana decided she doesn’t want to live in LA and Ben wants to be close to his family,” a source also told the outlet. “His priority is to be rooted in LA. They are in different places [in their lives].”

Another reason for the split involved having a future family. Ana wants to someday have children of her own while a source said Ben doesn’t want more kids, Page Six also reported. “Ben is not in a place to start a new family,” the source explained. “Both he and Ana have three jobs lined up. His family has, and will continue to be, his focus.”

Ben and Ana first met on the set of the film Deep Water, which was filmed in 2019 and were spotted together shortly after. Some of their first public outings included trips to Cuba and Costa Rica.

HollywoodLife has reached out to Ben and Ana’s reps for comment but we have yet to hear a response.

Sex Pissed Dolls – Maniac lyrics

He’s got hairy palms
And he’s a real snake charmer
And he sets off alarms
Cos he’s a wannabe Dahmer
He’s a wannabe Jeffrey Dahmer

Chorus:
You don’t realise, who you’re kissing
But you’re kissing a maniac
You don’t realise, who you’re kissing
But you’re kissing a maniac

He looks like George Clooney
But he’s a schizophrenic looney
And you’ll be dead by Monday
Cos he’s a wannabe Bundy
Yeah he’s a wannabe Ted Bundy

Repeat chorus

Maniac! Maniac! Maniac! Maniac!

He don’t care what’s beneath
He only wants your skin and teeth
Takes a trophy for his crimes
Cos he’s a wannabe Gein
He’s a wannabe Ed Gein

Repeat chorus

He took your life without remorse
Then put your legs under the floors
He likes to mix concrete
You turn the corner
You turn the corner you’re on Cromwell Street

Repeat chorus x2

You’re kissing, you’re kissing, you’re kissing, you’re kissing
You’re kissing, you’re kissing, you’re kissing

You’re kissing a maniac!
